At Halvorson Counseling, I offer men’s therapy in Indianapolis for those dealing with anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, self esteem, and life transitions. A lot of men are used to pushing through, staying productive, or handling things on their own. Therapy can be a place to pause and take inventory as we continue moving forward at a pace that fits us well. My approach is thoughtful, grounded, and relational, focusing on creating space for you to understand yourself more fully, identify your patterns, and show up in your life and relationships in a way that is authentic to you.
New Group Starting SoonMen’s Group
What is it?
This group is designed for men who want to connect with other men, be more aware of their emotions, and practice communicating with assertiveness and care.
Each week, we will 1) cover a communication skills and 2) have open reflection and guided process discussion about that topic. Members gain insight, build communication skills, and find community with others who understand the journey.
Who would be a good fit?
Any man who wants to learn skills to express themselves with confidence and compassion.
Any man who wants more opportunities to relate with and connect with other men.
Any man who wants to spend a few weeks improving their self-awareness and communication skills.
