Group Therapy
Who group therapy is forGroup therapy is for people who want to better understand themselves and their relationships.
❋ You feel stuck in patterns in dating, friendships, or family relationships❋ You tend to keep things to yourself and want to open up more❋ You want to have closer and more authentic relationships❋ You want honest feedback in a supportive environment❋ You’ve done individual therapy and want to put what you've learned to practice❋ You’re working through anxiety, stress, or life transitions and want community to help you throughWhat is group therapy?
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy where a small group of people meets regularly with a trained therapist to work on personal goals, relationship skills, and emotional well-being. It’s led by a trained therapist, but it’s not a class or lecture. It’s a group conversation. Group is a place where you can show up as you are, share (at your own pace), listen and engage with others, and begin to understand yourself more clearly through connection with other members.
Individual therapy helps you understand yourself.
Group therapy helps you understand how you are with others in real time.

What You Gain from Group
Emotional Awareness
We learn about ourselves through interaction with others. We pay attention to the emotions and reactions that come up AND take the time to be curious about the process.
Community and Universality
You’re not alone in the process. It is powerful to navigate relational dynamics with others who can relate to us and who can give us caring and honest feedback.
Practice in Real Time
It is one thing to have a therapy goal and read about how to do it. It is a different challenge to put the goal into action, receive guidance and support along the way, and take time to reflect on how the process is going. Insight + Practice leads to Growth.
Hope and Compassion
Witnessing our own progress and the progress of other group members fosters optimism that change is possible. We grow through increasing our care for others and for ourselves.
